L.S. “Jake” Jacobson, President and Chief Operating Officer of Copper Basin Railway, lines the switch at Ray Junction for CBRY’s main line to Florence, Arizona, during an inspection trip using the company’s GMC Suburban hi-rail on April 21, 2017. Jake, a well-known, liked and iconic railroader, died on July 24, 2021, at age 80.
