With a total power of 18300 kW the Intercity 806 of the line IC8 from Romanshorn across Switzerland via Zürich-Berne-L?tschberg Base Tunnel (LBT) to Brig, is running at 160 km/h on the Aare valley main line between Uttigen and Thun. In front is Re 460 # 107, behind the doubledeck IC2000/2020 push-pull train is Re 460 # 086 and in the far rear behind the "modul" with 4 cars of type EW IV and Bpm is the Re 460 # 055. All three locomotives are running in multiple control. The locomotive in front, running ahead of the cab car Bt, was added probably because of a failure in the cab of the cab car. The other two locomotives are "usual" when the IC2000/2020 push-pull train is circulating including a modul in peak hours.
