| "Dropping Rail Under Hazy Skies"
As haze from the Canadian wildfires lingers above, Metro-North Railroad Extra 103 drags a loaded Herzog rail train over East Main Street as it drops rail along Track 5 on the New Haven Line in Stamford, Connecticut. The dropped rail will be used to support the Connecticut Department of Transportation's (CTDOT) 2023 New Canaan Branch Track Improvement Program.
