| The Ge 4/6 # 353 "Oerlikoneri" of the Rhaetian Railway is on the way as train 92120 from Samedan via Filisur-Davos-Klosters to Schiers, to the General assembly of Club 1889, between the Wiesen tunnel II and I in the Zügen gorge. The 559 kW locomotive was built in 1914 by SLM and MFO for the new line Bever-Scuol, which was electrified from the start in 1913. Historical locomotive of the RhB and based in Samedan. You would think the locomotive had lowered both pantographs. But this is of course not the case, the catenary is very deep here between two tunnels. |
