Rail Train Out. On the evening of Monday, June 26, 2023, CSX Y220-26 with CSXT 6222 (née-BO 4323, GP40-2, EMD, 9/1979) was dispatched to Croton Harmon to pick up the now empty continuously welded rail train MTA Metro-North Railroad. At about 20 minutes after sunset, it passed through the Metro-North Spuyten Duyvil Station on the way to the CSX Oak Point Yard. The well timed departure of M704-26 allowed the trains to meet on the road, and neither train had to hold. In general CSX only moves through this are under the cover of darkness, so even this twilight move was a good catch, but especially with a solo 4-axle unit.
