| A charter freight with a mid-train helper is heading west past MP 309, one of the most dramatic locations on the railroad. A pretty good recreation of DRGW operations during the 50's and 60's. This long freight train is a testiment to the work of the Friends of the C&TS to preserve a substantial number of freight cars in operating condition. The summer work sessions are incredibly well organized and productive, as well as fun. And now a historic passenger car fleet is coming on line. |
