An absolutely gorgeous July morning presented the opportunity to shoot Iowa Traction Railway's (IATR) #50 shifting out the AGP (Ag Processing, Inc.) soybean processing plant in Mason City, Iowa. #50 is 103 years old and was purchased by IATR in 1962. Before it was added to the fleet the the locomotive saw service on the Kansas City Saw Valley Railroad, the Cedar Rapids & Iowa City and the Washington & Old Dominion. The IATR is the last operating interurban freight operation!
