| Norfolk Southern eastbound rack train is parked in the siding at Clymers, IN at sunset waiting out the New Years holiday on 12/31/99. I remember this day well. The Y2K scare was rampant in the world which turned out to be a non-event when the clock turned over to 2000 since businesses and governments were well prepared to prevent potential disaster. New computer sales skyrocketed during 1999, lol! |
