Remarks & Notes

After crossing the south fork of the Green River the CNO&TP began a major climb to this small hamlet. This used to require a narrow gassy tunnel. No more, thanks to a forward-thinking Southern Railway management. Here a southbound hotshot roars along. At the top of the grade double track begins. Photo by Jim Satterwhite. From my collection. Jim got a Christmas cedar tree lineside as well.
