Remarks & Notes

Bending off the UP (Mopac) line between San Antonio and Hearne, south on (I believe) Southern Pacific (originally Hearne and Brazos Valley Railroad). This junction was established in 1892. Now over 130 years old, it is controlled by Union Pacific, but PC&N exercises trackage rights. The train is returning to home rails, presumably empty, to refill with inbound ... grain?
