Since the derailment of a northbound freight train in the Gotthard Base Tunnel on august 10, both bores of the base tunnel are closed for several days. All passenger trains and some freight trains goes over the Gotthard mountain line, now called panorama line. "Giruno" highspeed trains RABe 501 # 020 "St.Gallen" and # 022 "Vaud" of the SBB in multiple control are crossing the 89 meter long Zgraggental bridge between Amsteg-Silenen and Gurtnellen on the Gotthard north ramp, running as IC 10667 from Basel to Lugano. The bridge was built new in concrete on the old pilars in 1968, replacing an old truss bridge.
