On the weekend august 26/27, 2023, a large vehicle meeting was organised in Olten by the association "Team 10439". Here we see a very successful locomotive of the SBB, the Ae 3/6 I # 10664 from Rapperswil, maintained by the team Ostschweiz of SBB Historic. Between 1920 and 1929, a total of 114 of this universal locomotive with the distinctive Buchli drive were built in different series , a power of 1470 to 1635 kW and a top speed of 100 or 110 km/h. Some locomotives were in service until 1994, up to 73 years! As seen here, the locomotive could also be visited inside under expert guidance. On the left is Ae 3/6 II # 10439, with rod drive, based in Olten, and Ae 3/5 # 10217.
