"Sitting in Trolley Tunnel Traffic Once More"

On a September 16th, 2023, 37-year veteran SEPTA Trolley operator Bill Monaghan Jr. brings SPAX Kawasaki LRV 9096 to a stop behind another LRV at 13th Street Station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania during his retirement charter trip. This would be his last time sitting behind trolley traffic inside of the SEPTA Subway–Surface Trolley Lines tunnel. Aside from working as a trolley operator, Bill is well known for his part in establishing the "Friends of Philadelphia Trolleys" organization and his contributions towards several other trolley preservation organizations. Congratulations to Bill!
