| Resting in the Roundhouse.
Canadian National Railway 2-8-2 Mikado no. 3254 is seen resting inside the roundhouse at Steamtown NHS in Scranton, PA. The locomotive was built by the Canadian Locomotive Company in 1917 as Canadian Government Railways (CGR) no. 2854. Its existence with the CGR was very brief, as in 1918 the CGR and Canadian Northern Railway were combined to form the Canadian National Railway, which still exists today. |
