| A Westbound manifest freight with a single unit on the head-end is seen exiting the Hermosa Tunnels as it descends Sherman Hill toward Laramie. The original bore was dug in 1901 for the realignment of track over the summit. The second bore was dug in 1918 to accommodate increasing traffic. |
