Remarks & Notes

When the Fox Valley and Lake Superior got started motive power came in the form of locomotives transferred from WAMX sibling Wisconsin & Southern. That explains the presence of WAMX 4186 working around Prentice on this spring day. The train is ready to return to Bradley once it runs around to the east end of its train. Despite it being spring there is plenty of snow piled up on the siding.
