    Remarks & Notes
GAINESVILLE TX March 9 1976 — ORHF 4449 is closing in on the Oklahoma-Texas border after departing Gainesville. The Freedom Train departed Ft Worth TX in early morning cloudy weather. This photo shows 4449 alone pulling the Freedom Train. Another photo I took the same day near Pauls Valley shows a Santa Fe Bicentennial unit in the consist. I would like to know if my dating of this photo is accurate and what the story of the diesel being added is. Any takers? My photo.
