| With the skyline of Alberta's Capital City providing the backdrop, The Empress shoves into the rarely used South Edmonton Yard. The rails end about a mile north of here, by the old CPR South Edmonton Station, which has since been turned into a restaurant. This used to be the primary route for CPR Passengers in Edmonton and serves as a fitting location to witness the 2816 arriving in Edmonton after so many years. |
