Remarks & Notes

The AVR-1 job returns to Glenwood Yard after interchanging with NS at Island Avenue. Three former SD45s, numbered in reverse consecutive order, powered the train on this overcast afternoon. The lead unit, AVR 3005, is former Rio Grande SD45 5321. The train is passing through Pittsburgh's Allegheny Commons Park on NS' Fort Wayne Line.
