| Midcoast Rail Service RB-2 is seen crossing the Kennebec River in Bath. The remains of the old Route 1 bridge can be seen directly above the rails. The modern replacement bridge can be seen to the left. On this day the crew has both engines and 11 loaded hoppers from the Dragon Cement plant in Thomaston. With the plant slated to close at the end of the year, the future of this line is uncertain. |
