New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) R36WF no. 9586 (St. Louis Car Co., 1963-1964) leads a NY Transit Museum train south through Freeman St Station on the IRT White Plains Road Line. Behind the train is an out of service signal tower, which once controlled an interlocking north of the station where elevated trains would turn to return to Manhattan. |
