| An early NS 18N features and unusual trailing engine: NS 3305 (SD40-2; formerly a high-hood, built for the Southern Railroad as SOU 3305; the unit went to Norfolk Southern and was rebuilt with an Admiral Cab in 2012). The leader was rebuilt from NS 9041 (C44-9W) in July of 2019. Acting as a rear DPU for the train is NS 4202 (AC44C6M; rebuilt from C44-9W NS 8992 in August of 2019). |
