This C&O Alco S2 # 9168 was Kept at The EMD plant In La Grange for one reason it was the one thing they has at the time that they knew Exactly what its weight was. so it was used as a scale test car. i got this information my guide on a tour of the plant. note after the C&O lettering the weight was printed on the hood
