| The sound of dynamic brakes can be heard as NS 123 winds downgrade at Old Fort mountain for the last time. This would be the last scheduled through freight over the S Line from Asheville-Salisbury as Linwood Yard would be closing in just a few short hours from when this photo was taken. The last 135 would meet this 123 at Clinchcross. |
