| The 25 kilometer long former service railroad of the International Rhine Regulation (IRR) with 75 cm track gauge and electrified with 750 V direct current since 1946, has been operated by the "Rhein-Schauen" (Rheinb?hnle) association from the Lustenau/Austria depot since 2006. The mixed electro/diesel locomotive "HEIDI", built in 1946 by the Ernst Stadler company from Zürich, predecessor of the StadlerRail of today, is running on the Rhine dam between Lustenau Werkhof and Lustenau Wiesenrain with a photo charter. |
