On Saturday, December 2, operations on the entire RhB network were severely affected by the heavy snowfall. Several lines such as Tiefencastel-Bergün, Chur-Arosa, Davos-Filisur and between Zernez and S-chanf were closed for many hours or even the whole day, mainly due to fallen trees. There were many long delays and train cancellations, and some rail replacement services could not be set up due to closed roads. This is a replacement train on the S1 line from Schiers to Rh?züns with a push-pull train which is usually running on the Chur-Arosa line, between Zizers and Untervaz. "Allegra" ABe 8/12 # 3513 is pulling a standard car type AB II, a second class standard car type B I built in 1969 in the "B?renland" design (since 2019), and the cab car BDt # 1756.
