Working Conrail Shared Assets BY-1, a job normally powered by a pair of 6-axles, the slightly unusual pairing of CSX 8136 (née-LN 8136, SD40-2, 9/1981) and 4405 (née-CR 3293, GP40-2, 5/1977) approach Merideth Avenue in Staten Island, New York on December 26, 2018. Perhaps it was the holiday week occasion, but in an area normally full of cars to be interchanged, the train passes empty tracks as it heads towards its destination.
