CLEBURNE TX June 4 1978 — Santa Fe GP38 3534 leads a covered hopper train. EMD built the unit (s/n 36570) in August 1979 and delivered it in blue body with yellow ends (Bookends) livery. After August 26 1972 it was repainted into blue body with yellow warbonnet livery. In February 1985 It was rebuilt as a GP38u and was renumbered ATSF 2334. On Jan 30 2000 it became BNSF 2223.
