Remarks & Notes

A southbound CSX merchandise train, led by ES44DC 5248 and leased HLCX SD40-2 6209 (originally BCOL 741), winds its way along the western shore of New York's Hudson River (CSX's River Sub). The power on this train has just exited the Fort Montgomery Tunnel and will shortly duck under the Bear Mountain highway bridge on a cold and windy early winter day. (Fort Montgomery, New York – December 29, 2011)
