During, before and after the Lauberhorn ski races in January, the Wengernalp Railway is always working at full capacity. As there is no road to Wengen, all equipment and visitors have to be transported on the 80 centimeter gauge cogwheel railroad. Here we see the scheduled train CC 352 from Wengen to Lauterbrunnen at the Wittimatte crossing station. These are two of the new "Wengen Shuttle" shuttle trains in multiple control, with the locomotives He(m) 4/4 # 41 and # 43 each with a two-car driving trailer Bt # 282 and # 281.
