During, before and after the Lauberhorn ski races in January, the Wengernalp Railway is always working at full capacity. As there is no road to Wengen, all equipment and visitors have to be transported on the 80 centimeter gauge cogwheel railroad. In the afternoon, there were trains each with two panorama trains running between Wengen and Wengernalp only. Bhe 4/8 # 144 and # 143 in the publicity paint scheme for 125 years Wengernalpbahn 1893 to 2018, are running up between Wengen and Allmend. On the left is BDhe 4/4 # 115 running down to Wengen.
