Remarks & Notes

BN 1540, a former GN GP7 that made it to the merger in its original colors, hangs out in light snow at Belknap Yard in Superior, WI. The former GN yard was an important terminal for BN and is still in use in 2024, albeit with all the roundhouse & back shop buildings either razed or re-purposed for other businesses. The longhand was the front.
