A constant parade of short-distance passenger trains (Amtrak's Pacific Surfliners and Metrolink's commuter trains) passing through Fullerton, California, is broken up by only one pair of long-distance trains - the two daily Amtrak Southwest Chiefs running between Los Angeles and Chicago.
