BN 9794 has been set out from the North Coast Hiawatha during its station stop at Livingston, MT. The passenger train has just departed the station and is starting to climb Bozeman Hill, and will also cross the Continental Divide on Homestake Pass before arriving at Butte, MT. The FP7 will visit the BN shops in Livingston, and this may have been the point at which the unit was returned to BN for assignment to freight service. It was repainted and put in BN freight service as BN 726 before being retired after a wreck in 1980. It was scrapped in Auburn, WA in November 1980.
