      AMTK 540 heads up the Empire Builder at King St. station as it loads passengers for its trip to Chicago via Stampede Pass to Spokane, then the former GN mainline via Glacier Park to Minneapolis before using Milwaukee Road St. Paul to Chicago. The North Coast Hiawatha operated via the former GN via Stevens Pass to Spokane, then X-NP to Minneapolis.
