Dramatic Daylighting. On February 26, 2024, Amtrak ALSTOM Acela 2 Train Set 8 (AMTK 2146-2118) operated as train 844-26 from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Boston, Massachusetts. This daylight run for the new train was to allow for more midweek testing in the Boston area. The train is seen crossing the Hell Gate Bridge over Wards Island in New York, New York with the Triboro Bridge in the foreground.
