Sleet continues to fall during the early morning hours of February 17th, 2024, as Amtrak MP15DC's 539 & 537 tow a Continuous Welded Rail Train towards Cedar Hill Yard at Mill River Interlocking on the Shore Line porting of Amtrak's Northeast Corridor in New Haven, Connecticut. Amtrak's MP15DC locomotive fleet continues to run on borrowed time as 36 newly rebuilt EMD GP38-3's purchased from Progress Rail continue to arrive on the property.
