| Interested in trackside living? I know a place. Gentrification in Chattanooga's downtown area has gone from a welcomed breath of life into once blighted areas of downtown (Main Street in particular) to almost a point of ridiculous lengths developers will go to build housing anywhere. This particular spot is along the East Chattanooga Belt Railway (TVRM freight operation) and sees sporadic freight operations, dinner trains, and seasonal steam excursions. I can't help but wonder how long it'll be until new residents tire of their long-time neighbor. |
