| The snow clearing composition with diesel locomotive Gmf 234 # 03 and snow blower Xrot mt # 95404 has cleared the so-called "Panorama Curve" in Alp Grüm down to the entry turnout (on the right after the end of the curve) and is heading back. This double-track curve with more than 180 degrees has a radius of 45 meters only and the maximum speed is 30 km/h. The two tracks are laid very close to each other so that trains cannot meet in this section. The view looks out over the Val Poschiavo, Lago di Poschiavo and the Bergamasque Alps to the south of Valtellina in Italy. |
