With Engineer Tyler at the throttle, three ex-Guilford locomotives notch up to lug a string of loaded rock hoppers onward to Scruggs asphalt in Meigs, Georgia. This OmniTRAX property is former CSX trackage and is now managed by the Georgia & Florida Railway. Pelham is the highest point on the railroad between Albany and Thomasville making it a struggle for heavy trains to overcome the grade.
