| Shuttle Sign.
New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) R46 no. 5674 (Pullman-Standard, 1975-1978) is the lead motor on a shuttle train seen approaching 39th Avenue Station on the BMT Astoria Line. Due to accessibility work being performed at Queensboro Plaza Station, on many weekends in 2024 service on the Astoria Line is reduced to a shuttle between Astoria-Ditmars Blvd and 39th St Stations. This train - as with most others on this day - was using the rarely-seen "Shuttle" rollsign rather than the more common S bullets. |
