New York & Atlantic GP38-2 no. 268 is seen creeping across Varick Ave in an industrial section of Williamsburg, Brooklyn as it serves industries along the LIRR Bushwick Branch. The employee standing on the pilot flags the grade crossings on the line, as many are blind due to the high volume of vehicular traffic on the streets and the dense urban environment surrounding the branch. |
