Amtrak has a new paint scheme being applied to their P42DCs, the Phase VII scheme. So far it has been applied to 174 and 82 … and now 167, seen on its maiden run in its third paint scheme. Fresh out of the paint shop, AMTK 167 was placed on the headend of Amtrak 3, the westbound Southwest Chief, heading from Chicago to Los Angeles. (Fullerton, California – April 4, 2024)
