| Fenniarail Sr3 201 pulling an empty timber train through the urban scenery around the new Ranta-Tampella suburbs.
Due to repairworks and a closure of the southern track on the Tammerkoski bridge that the train is passing, the already congested double track main between Tampere and Lielahti has gotten even more congested. The closure on the 6km long double track, now single track stretch that's used by all traffic on the Finnish mainline as well as traffic to Pori and Rauma has made railphotography really intresting as traffic is basically non stop now as two tracks worth of trains get pushed on the single track. To help this, all commuter trains to Nokia have been cancelled and replaced by buses |
