BNSF Railway train S-ALTLBT1-18A, carrying containers from Alliance, Texas, to the Long Beach port's Pier T, sits at Basta, about a mile west of Fullerton's Amtrak/Metrolink station, awaiting a new crew. BNSF ES44C4 8041, Dash 9-44CW 717 and ES44AC 6362 have been sitting here a while, and will likely still be here hours from now … such is how railroads tend to operate these days.
