| Westbound Metra West Line train #37 is off from their station stop at the UP shops. The train dropped off a bunch of employees. The group will grab 10 units to the left and head downtown to pick up the cars and run an outbound rush hour trains on the UP side. I hear this practice will stop now that Metra has control of this operation. Since the beginning of time, the CNW side has split the power apart from the cars and brought the power here without the cars. Then freight power would shuttle the cars in and out of downtown. It seems like a lot of work, but I guess it's the way it's always been.
