Former Norfolk & Western 8530 throttles up as it is just about to cross over the Tug Fork River and enter Welch tunnel with an eastbound coal train heading for Bluefield West Virginia. The track on the far left is the Tug Fork Branch that leaves the mainline just around the curve and heads toward Gary West Virginia.
