Pointed at Starkey Hill, that winding grade close to town that is the start of the "Pumpkin Vine" line to Winston Salem, NC. Due to proximity and a grade nearing 1.7% Starkey has been the default locomotive test location for many years. Behind the test car is a measured set of coal loads followed by a Brookville genset, also being tested. Several runs were made with the Brookville piloting the rearward move.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
