| This BCFe 2/2 # 4 electric railcar of the former Sernftalbahn (SeTB) has been under restoration at the Blonay-Chamby Museum Railway for several years and will probably be completed at some point. The vehicle with 2nd and 3rd class as well as a luggage compartment was built in 1928 by SIG and MFO for the meter-gauge tramway from Schwanden to Elm in the canton of Glarus, most of whose track ran in the road at the time. The 13.8-kilometre route with a difference in altitude of 440 meters had a maximum gradient of 6.8 % and was discontinued in 1969 and replaced by a bus service. |
