| Privatly owned cogwheel steamlocomotive "Caspar Honegger" in the roundhouse of Railway Park Brugg AG on the open doors days 2024. The locomotive with cogwheel drive was built in 1876 by Maschinenfabrik Aarau of Niklaus Riggenbach for the Maschinenfabrik Rüti ZH. This factory had a steep connecting rack track to the station of Rüti ZH. The locomotive is operational, but lacking air brake and train protection systems and so is not allowed to circulate on the network. |
